YOU ONLY NEED TO FILL OUT AND SUBMIT THE AGREEMENT IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE DEFAULT 14MP. THE 14MP WILL BE ASSIGNED TO ALL LIVING IN HOUSING UNLESS YOU REQUEST OTHERWISE AND YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PLAN YOU SELECT.

Northwestern State University's meal plan requirements stipulate that all on-campus residents, except graduate students, purchase a meal plan. Freshmen (those students with less than 30 hours and residing on-campus) must purchase one of the following meals plans: 19MP, or 14MP. If you do not select a meal plan you will automatically be given the 14MP.

Our 'MP' meal plans include traditional meals at the all you care to eat Iberville Dining Hall facility. You also have the choice of "Demon Dollars" on your meal plan. This is a declining balance that allows you to eat at any of our dining locations on campus with the swipe of your card, but also gives you the added bonus of being able to make purchases at our convenience store with your Demon Dollars! We also offer declining balance only meal plans that give you the freedom to eat any meal where you want at our on campus locations.

The last day to change your meal plan or to request an exemption from a meal plan is seven (7) days after classes start. After that date, no changes will be made unless under the specific direction from the General Manager of Sodexo. Student who are allowed to cancel traditional meal plans after the seventh day of classes will be charged a prorated amount based on two week time periods up until the final day to resign or drop courses with a grade of "W" as published in the schedule of classes. There will be no refunds after the final day to resign or drop courses with a grade of "W" as published in the Schedule of Classes. There are no refunds on Declining Balance meal plans.

If you need to fill out an Exemption from Campus Dining Services, the form may be obtained from the One Card Office or online at http://onecard.nsula.edu . Fill out the form completely and turn it in to the One Card Office. You will be notified if your Exemption from Campus Dining Services has been approved or denied.

If you have Demon Dollars left on your account at the end of the Fall semester, these Dollars will roll over ONLY if you purchase a meal plan for the Spring semester. However, you must use all of your Dollars by the end of the Spring semester. Demon Dollars do NOT roll over from the Spring semester to Summer.

Please check the Meal Plan of your choice. Make sure you are eligible for the meal plan you are choosing. By indicating below the meal plan option of your choice and returning this agreement to the One Card Office or Sodexo, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Meal Plan Agreement/Requirements.


The following meal plans are available to everyone. However, if you are a freshman living on campus you are required to have one of the 4 meal plans listed below.

19 MP - 19 Meals per week/$175 in Demon Dollars per semester
This plan offers 19 meals per week: breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Friday, and brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday at Iberville Dining Hall. You also get $175 Demon Dollars to use at any dining location and the C-Store. The cost of this plan is $1870.00

14 MP - 14 Meals per week/$290 in Demon Dollars per semester
This plan offers any 14 meals per week at Iberville Dining Hall. You also get $200 Demon Dollars to use at any dining location and the C-Store. The cost of this plan is $1840.00/semester


If you are a Sophomore or above (those students with 30 hours or above), living in University Place, the following options are also available to you. If you do not choose a meal plan, you will be assigned the 14MP.

Vic's Ultra $1150 in Demon Dollars per semester.
You get $1150 Demon Dollars to use at any dining location and the C-Store - including Chick-fil-a. The cost of this plan is $1150/semester.

5 MP Plus - 5 Meals per week/$600 in Demon Dollars per semester
This plan offers 5 meals per week – 1 meal per day at Iberville Dining Hall. The Plus is you get $600.00 Demon Dollars to use at any dining location and the C-Store. The cost of this plan is $1,392.00/semester.


If you are a Sophomore or above (those students with 30 hours or above), living in University Columns, the following option is also available to you. If you do not choose a meal plan, you will be assigned the 14MP.

Vic's Lite – All Demon Dollars
This plan is a declining balance plan with a $725.00 beginning balance. The Demon Dollars may be used at any dining location and the C-Store. The cost of this plan is $725.00/semester. If you are a commuter/non-resident student or faculty/staff, the following options are also available to you.

Vic's Commuter – All Demon Dollars
This plan is a declining balance plan with a $150.00.

25 MP Plus - 25 Meals per semester/$350 in Demon Dollars per semester
This plan offers 25 meals per semester at Iberville Dining Hall. The plus is you get $350 in Demon Dollars to use at any dining location and the C-Store. The cost of this plan is $555.00/semester.

25 MP - 25 meals per semester
This plan offers you 25 meals per semester at Iberville Dining Hall. Perfect for commuters or faculty and staff. It's just enough! The cost of this plan is $205.00/semester.

10 MP - 10 meals per week
This block meal plan gives you 10 meals per week in the all you care to eat Iberville Dining Hall - perfect for the off-campus athlete or student that wants the value of a meal plan but will not be on campus as much as a resident. The cost of this meal plan is $880.00/ semester.

All prices are per semester and do not include tax.
